Designation of aluminum pipes

To get aluminum pipes, aluminum A7, A6, A5, the composition of which determines GOST 11069. Various aluminum alloys are also used, which have improved characteristics. Alloys are made in compliance with GOST 4784 or GOST 1131. If there is a need to manufacture a pipe from AD35, then this is necessary for the coordination with the customer.

While the aluminum pipe is difficult to compete in the construction market with steel analogues, because the pipe is the steel price is much lower, in addition, there are a number of strength characteristics in which aluminum clearly loses steel. But aluminum is not subjected to corrosion, as is usually the case with steel surfaces.

Aluminum pipes are carried out in the following ways: cold deformation GOST 18475, pressing GOST 18482-79, by welding of various aluminum alloys GOST 23697-79. They also have a different section: round, square, rectangular and shaped. The round model of this product can have a thin wall that can have a thickness of up to five millimeters or a thick wall of more than five millimeters.

Aluminum pipes can be subjected to heat treatment and be burnt, but most often this material is not subjected to additional processing. If it is annealed, then the letter m is added to its marking. Also, product options can be bombed and half -wagged — the use of this process will be indicated as H or H2.

Aluminum pipes can be hardened and subjected to artificial aging. If such procedures are carried out, then on idels there will be a marking — T1 -click or T5 — aging, and buy aluminum pipes after hardening will be somewhat more expensive, but they will have some additional useful properties.

Aluminum pipes have different lengths, which can be unmeasured or measured. Often on sale you can find products with multiple measured lengths and in bays. If you see an aluminum pipe round from the AK6 alloy, which was not subjected to heat treatment, and its outer diameter is 80 mm, and the wall thickness is 15 mm with a non-length length, then it will be marked like AK6 80’15 pipe GOST 18482-79.

If hardening with a naturally aged state is added to the existing characteristics of the aluminum pipe, and its length will be two meters, then its marking will look as follows: AK6 pipe.T 80’15’2000 GOST 18480-79. For the shaped version of the product, for the production of which the aluminum alloy of AK6 was used, without heat treatment, the designation will have the following type: AK6’2000 KD pipe GOST 18482-79. The round version, which was performed when using the AMC, and without the use of heat treatment, the diameter of which is twenty millimeters, and the wall thickness is three millimeters: the AMC 20’3BT pipe GOST 18482-79, and such a pipe will be delivered in the bays. If you read the designation of aluminum pipes in drawings and specifications correctly, then many problems can be avoided when choosing.
